Remember this book being quite profound when I read it at the age of 7. Not mention my last name was Jacobs and I thought it was a sign. Also, just the quote from the Bible: "Jacob Have I loved, Esau Have I Hated" (or something to that affect).
Having a younger sister who I felt was the Jacob and I the Esau, I fell in love with this book.
