The Wishing Thread: A Novel - Lisa Van Allen
I honestly lost interest in the book mainly because of the depressing overtone of the story.

All three sisters have something wrong with them that easily borders the AFU zone. With nothing interesting behind this I found myself simply not caring about their fates.

If this book could be likened to the weather I'd say it was overcast with thick rain heavy clouds.

The writing itself isn't bad. Perhaps I'd read and enjoy another novel by the author.

It's simply the pacing and execution. With no discernible plot 47% of the way in, and the depression of every. Single. Character. I had to stop.

*this was an ARC from NetGalley. This is an honest review.
