To Sir Phillip, With Love - Julia Quinn
Didn't love this. Nothing will top Colin and Pen but I was looking forward to Eloise's book, especially after all the buildup from the last.

All I got was a selfish, angry widower who did not deserve the liveliest and wittiest of the female Bridgerton's. Eloise can be selfish, waspish and stubborn but it comes from a place of love. Phillip, perhaps not developed enough, just came across as an post-pubescent teen.

The plot had promise and sub-plot (used to further develop Phillip and bring about his transformation) could've been handled better.

This book felt flat too me. I didn't see the chemistry between Eloise and Phillip and because of that I found the sex scenes boring. It all felt incredibly stock to me.

Not one of my favorites.
