This was not as good as the first two volumes and I really didn't dig the last story. In fact there were a couple that should have been edited out....I'll let you guys decide.
Some of the art was, as usual, amazing, and some were meh. It's worth it to own this, there are some outstanding messages but see if you can get it on sale. It's not quite worth the $17.99.

Really should've figured out the twist by the gigantic spoiler in the summary but I must've forgotten about it because I really thought this had more of a supernatural twist.
Eh.
It wasn't bad and it wasn't great. Zoe was the kind of woman you feel bad for and then realize she is living the life based on her own poor decisions and thus has no one to blame but herself.
The revenge twist would have been better if I cared about Zoe and her life.
The art saved the plot for me.

This was a cute, heart-warming and fun contemporary romance that is a perfect beach read.
Mackenna is a strange molten lava cake mix of type A and harried/frazzled but it works for her. Except toward the end when she lets her neuroses get the better of her and nearly sabotages something that would bring her happiness. It took a bit to warm up to her and I think it changed for me the first time I saw her with her daughter and realized that most of what she puts on as a front, is exactly that, a front.
Now Travis is a delicious jambalaya complete with sexiness, flirtatiousness, humor, understanding, patience, ability and Daddy Issues.
Yep. Daddy Issues.
I like that's there's a flip here because it's usually females that have daddy issues but nope, not here. Travis' issues with his family threaten to not only upend his sanity but also gives him such a serious case of anxiety that it almost stops something before it truly starts.

I wasn't sure how this story was gonna go and there were times where I wasn't sure what pace the plot wanted to move at but, in the end, it was great to revisit The Yard, the Rye family, and even Grady & Kate (albeit briefly).
Pick this one up if you can.

Some plot issues and tense problems but the characters were worth rooting for.
The story was interesting and the push/pull was realistic making the inevitable that much sweeter.
It's a quick read but it keeps you hooked and this is a perfect vacation book.
Also, it definitely had its steamy moments.
I'd read the next one but I really didn't care for Kara so I might just skip it.
Also, I just realized that the cover is perfect. Read and you'll make the connection.

Pretty good and pretty fun.
It's pretty much, what happens after you stop saving the world and then realize you have to do it again.
My only dislike was the vernacular but that probably has more to do with my age than anything else.
The art was great and if you're a fan of Sailor Moon or any other Magical Girl manga/anime, you'll dig this one too.

It's been a few years and let's be honest, I don't have the slightest idea how to use this thing anymore but I will be posting some recent reviews here, because I feel like I should.

There are so many books that I've read that I haven't updated on here and I have to tell you, with the kerfuffle that's going on at Goodreads (yet again), I'm seriously debating putting most of my reviews here and just using GR as a catalogue system.
Authors that bully are pretty much assholes. I've been anonymously (and personally, not physically, but the criticism had nothing to do with my writing and everything to do with a perceived slight) attacked through my writing and yes, it affected me. I feel for authors who get shitty reviews but I never make my reviews personal.
Which is why I can't understand why authors feel the need to do so.
Grow up.
Writing is not what you should be doing if you can't handle not being liked. Go become a kindergarten teacher. At least then you'll be liked and you'll be doing something useful.

Book lovers have different personalities just like ordinary people. We find it hard to choose only one as it also depends on the book(s) we're reading. For the most of the time we'll go for a mix of Polygamist+Extrovert+Altruist. Some books, however, make us monogamist introverts. And a very very tiny percentage of titles change us into neurotic readers.
