To Taste Temptation - Elizabeth Hoyt
I really wish I could rate this book higher than 3 but for some reason the book as a whole fulfilled my need for a romance novel but somehow fell a little flat. Maybe it had something to do with the main characters and the overall shrewness of Emeline (the main character), the boorishness of Sam (the hero) and the weakness of the supporting characters. I felt that they could have been fleshed out a little bit more.

However, despite it all, it served its purpose and it was enjoyable enough to continue reading. Though a bit flat, the fairytale that was threaded through it was interesting (and I think I have actually heard of it before or some sort of rendition) and the characters, though I've seen/heard them before, I still rooted for them. I will continue reading this series.
